3D printed glasses

Our eyewear frames are designed with great care; our designers (architects, designers and opticians-optometrists) combine all the skills necessary for the development of a functional product with a great formal impact; the continuous curiosity and the desire to improve the product has led to the development of innovative solutions and patents. Our frames are prototyped and tested extensively by our testers. The pre-series are subjected to all the tests prescribed by the Community legislation for CE marking. Some tests are extended over time well beyond the regulatory requirements to better verify the durability and resistance to stress of your glasses.

Screwless hinges, adjustable temple ends, soft and comfortable nose pads

Our frames use screwless hinges (patent pending n.102021000014378) with pre-set opening and closing positions, with automatic internal clearance correction for constant operation over time. The opening and closing system is tested for 10,000 cycles without any problems being encountered.

Cip NFC in the left temple terminals

In our frames, an NFC chip is inserted in the left end of the temple. This system, completely passive except when powered wirelessly by reading / writing equipment, allows you to always have with your glasses the data that your optician or the manufacturer will have recorded. For example, your optician will be able to register your prescription, or a link to their site to request it. On some models we may register an NFT certification which certifies the possession of the frame even in its digital version that can be used in the meta world.

Extremely light and resistant frames

Our eyewear frames are produced using 3D printing systems. The system saves large quantities of material that would be wasted with other production systems. Specifically, each frame uses exactly the material you need, without scraps; each frame can be produced in the number necessary for the sale so as to avoid overproduction with accumulation of unsold stocks; each frame can also be customized one by one. The materials used are perfectly bio-compatible and from their use derive extremely light glasses (a 3D printed frame with the SLS technique weighs on average 30% less than a similar product in acetate) and resistant: the durability tests carried out are they are continued for 10 times more than the number prescribed by the EC legislation.

Colors

Our 3D printed frames, due to the printing method used, are of gray material and with opaque and rough surfaces. The colors we offer, all non-toxic colors applied by hot dipping, therefore start from the gray base. We offer them in light anthracite, black, blue, red, deep green, marbled yellow with gray dots. The colors, the materials and the printing technique give life to material and chromatic finishes that are not uniform or constant: this is a characteristic of our frames.

Sartorial shapes, details and finishes

The printing techniques adopted (SLS for frames in synthetic material, chemical photo blanking for steel or mixed frames) allow us to create specific projects for every need. Design, prototyping and printing times are very limited, the number of pieces to be produced is irrelevant. We can therefore customize our products in a very short time with minimal variations or create entirely new projects based on your specifications, whatever the level of detail of your project.
